Finding Tommy Wheatley


If you collected cards in the late 1980's through the early-to-mid 1990's, you have probably spent countless hours each month looking up your most prized cards in a Beckett Baseball Card Monthly. (For all I know, you still do).

Well if you did, you might remember a semi-regular feature known as "Kids Korner" written by a young, bespectacled Tommy Wheatley - the envy of every young collector.

Last September, HHR's Fat Willard "found" Tommy...half-way around the globe.

Nice interview! I'll check out his music too. I too have thousands of cards in those "you-fold-it" cardboard boxes still at my parents' house. I am slowly migrating them to my own house every time I visit them. It's going to take a lot of visits!
