Ooooh sorry. The correct question was, "Who are 1984's three AL active career strikeout leaders, two of which will never be Hall of Famers?"
Bert Blyleven
Pitcher, Cleveland Indians
Don Sutton
Pitcher, Milwaukee Brewers
Jerry Koosman
Pitcher, Chicago White Sox
1984 Topps #716

3701 strikeouts, 118 lifetime ERA+, 5-1 postseason record with two rings, best curveball of his era if not ever... but yeah, the crappy Indians blew 13 wins for him so Bert is definitely not hallworthy.
And don't get me started on Koosman. He has one of the most iconic rookie cards of all time!
Both Clavin and Trebek are correct here.
This is another one of those topics (along with anything OJ Simpson, Pete Rose or Barry Bonds) that lazy radio talk show hosts bring up to troll calls:
What do you think about (insert "Rikalbert Blyleven," "Ron Santo" or "Andre Dawson") getting into the Hall of Fame? Let's hear your opinion (even though it's worth less than mine because neither of us have a vote)?
